Its high-carbon, stainless steel blade is extremely sharp and easy to re-sharpen, using sharpening steel. The reverse serration on its blade minimizes tearing.

Wusthof’s Gourmet laser-cut stamped knives are made of high-carbon stain-free steel. Gourmet knives feature a new handle design made of a highly durable synthetic material Polyoxymethylene (POM) which has a tighter molecular structure to resist fading and discoloration.
