Join Raluca Micu for a fun hands-on sourdough bread baking masterclass.

You will be introduced to the basics of sourdough baking, starting with creating your own sourdough starter and how to keep it alive, learning how you can use your sourdough discard in different recipes, as to minimise waste and even bake your own sourdough discard seeded crackers.

Raluca will take you through the whole process of dough making, discussing different flours, bakers language and the tools you might need in the bread baking process.

On the day you will learn how to make and bake a French baguette, a pain dpi, ciabatta style loaf and a delicious focaccia, all freshly baked for you to rake home!

What you will learn during the day:

  • How to make and maintain a sourdough starter
  • How to use sourdough discard and you will bake sourdough discard seeded crackers
  • The entire process of making a dough
  • How to shape and bake a French baguette and a pain dpi
  • How to shape and bake ciabatta style loaf
  • How to make and bake a focaccia
