Kenwood Chef Shaft with circlip to fit new attachments to older machines

Earlier machines had a circlip fitted to the shaft to help hold the attachment in place. new accessories or attachments are supplied with the later design shaft that doesn’t have a circlip. If you wish to use a newer attachment on an older machine you can either swap the shaft from your old attachment or buy and fit an older design shaft.
