John Julian Flat Bowls are individually hand thrown on the potters wheel.They are glazed on the inside and left unglazed on the outside with the end result sculptural simplicity combined with the ethereal look of turned stone.

The bowls are elegant, simple and versatile as small serving bowls or as display pieces and are the perfect size for serving starters, side dishes or fresh fruit and dessert.

Due to the unglazed nature of the exterior, which gives the bowl a highly tactile quality, these pieces work best for special occasions and dinner parties rather than everyday use. Handwash with hot soapy water after use.

As each bowl is made to order for , there might be slight variations in colour and size – this is very much part of their individual character and charm.
