This recipe blends the Christmas Symbol of the Northern Italian confectionary tradition with the ingredients and flavours of the south. Added to the range last Christmas, this luxury panettone with Sicilian almonds and naturally leavened dough is enriched with raisins aromatised by Vecchio Samperi wine. It is finished off with icing, sugar grains and more Sicilian almonds.
The panettone is then hand wrapped and placed in a fantastic tin designed by Dolce & Gabbana and will make a lovely keep sake long after the panettone is gone! This collaboration between fashionable creativity and the confectionery artistry make it the ultimate treat. Exact tin design varies.
