Made of unique materials each piece has its own personality, you wont find two the same. Each material handle is carefully selected to reach high quality standards set up by Laguiole en Aubrac. These handles are made from oyster shells harvested from producers base on the Oleron Island, which are then crushed and cast in resin. Which Laguiole then combine with traditional Sandik Swedish Steel.

Laguiole originated in the 1920s in the village of the same name; a small mountain settlement of the Aveyron in Southwestern France. Inspired by the Hispanic Navaja and their local knife, the Capouchadou, they created Laguiole Knives. Each knife is designed, built, bolstered, sharpened, polished and finished by hand from start to finish, resulting in a unique and exceptional knife that is guaranteed to last a lifetime.
