The Le Creuset Black BBQ Grill Basket – 30cm is part of Le Creusets purpose-designed Outdoor Collection, offering the performance of enamelled cast iron for cooking over an open flame. Designed for grilling vegetables, seafood and smaller ingredients that typically slip through standard barbecue grates, this grilling basket is a practical solution for outdoor cooking.

Crafted from black enamelled cast iron, its highly durable and built to withstand temperatures up to 450C. The black enamel is specifically formulated to resist staining and dulling, with no need for seasoning. Like all Le Creuset cast iron cookware, each basket is individually cast in sand moulds and hand finished at the brands original French foundry, where production has been ongoing since 1925.

Perforations in the base allow heat and flame to reach the food for authentic grilled flavour while preventing smaller items from falling through. It retains heat evenly, making it ideal for consistent results on regulated and unregulated heat sources, including charcoal barbecues, gas grills, pizza ovens and wood-fired ovens. Its also suitable for use in domestic ovens.

This cookware can withstand temperatures up to 450C and is compatible with outdoor grills, pizza ovens, wood-fired ovens, domestic ovens, and gas hobs. However, it is not suitable for AGA cookers or induction hobs. When using on charcoal or wood-fired grills, always place the product on a rack, ensuring it does not come into direct contact with the embers, and maintain a minimum distance of 5 cm between the rack and the embers.. While the cookware is safe for use with metal utensils and is dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended to preserve its finish.
